Summer May Be Over, But You Can Still Relive It In The Shower With This Soap

"Summer afternoon, summer afternoon; to me those have always been the two most beautiful words in the English language"- Henry James

Although summer is officially over, you can still relive those hot, refreshing summer days through the Sea Vegetable Soap from Lush.

Claim: "Splish, splash it’s time to take a bath with our best-selling soap inspired by the sea. Sea Vegetable is made with skin softening seaweed, one of our favorite ingredients, with a crust of stimulating sea salt to give your body a good scrub down. In addition to cleansing your skin, salt also helps to soften and hydrate. Float away with the reviving scents of lime, lavender and seaweed. Instantly relaxing, your senses will be transported to groves of citrus trees and vibrant flowers. The best part? Your skin will be revived, brightened, and clean".

Pros:
The smell. If you want a  refreshing, cooling and invigorating sea scent, this is it. I think the smell is beautifully complex and rare.
Contains good for your skin ingredients such as seaweed, lime oil, lavender oil and sea salt.
Lathers up really well.
Makes you look forward to taking a shower.

Cons:
The price. $7.25 for a bar a soap that usually does not last me more than a week isn't a very great deal.
Not very exfoliating, you would have the use a separate body scrub if you want a good, thorough exfoliation.
This soap doesn't last very long. Maybe I spend too much time in the shower, but I finished this soap in a week.

Verdict: This is a nice, summer beach day, in a soap.

Ingredients:
Water (Aqua), Propylene Glycol, Rapeseed Oil, Coconut Oil ( Brassica napus; Helianthus annuus; Cocos nucifera), Atlantic Sea Salt Crystals ( Sodium chloride). Sodium Stearate, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Sodium Hydroxide, Arame Seaweed ( Eisendia Arborea), Lime Oil ( Citrus aurantifolia), Lavender Oil ( Laandula hybrida), Seaweed Absolute ( Fucus vesiculosus), Citral, Geraniol, Limonene, Linalool, FD&C Blue No.1, FD &C Yellow No.

On another note, happy first day of autumn to everyone! I hope autumn represents a clean slate and a chance to start all over again.
